"Nadia's Song" was written by Scott and his band Fist Music to memorialize their friend Nadya Balucek, who was brutally murdered the year before. In SO GOOD IT'S BAD, it is the song that Fist Music is playing at Reno's Spur and Saddle when Scott takes ill and has to run off stage.

I can't forget the night you died
We were young and time was on our side
Then I saw you lying there
Like a bird who'd fallen from the sky

Now you're the work of art
We finish in our hearts
I wish that you were here

Nadya has come and gone
Nadya the world has done you wrong
Now Nadya is gone

We're so sad we couldn't save you
When the madmen gave you to the dark
Now we're haunted by the cries
We didn't hear, but now behind our eyes
They rise

And you're the lullaby
That we hear when we cry
We wish that you were here

Nadya has come and gone
Nadya the world has done you wrong
Now Nadya is gone

Nadya, I know you hear me
Because there's a bruise across the sky
Of all the things I wish, I wish so dearly
That I had the chance to say goodbye
